Flames of Durga at Mon Petit Mojave, a 15-acre ranch and outdoor music space tucked into the high desert of Yucca Valley. Born from a series of drive-in concerts, Mon Petit Mojave has become one of those places where the setting is inseparable from the show—Joshua trees, open sky, desert light, and a stage that comes alive as the sun goes down.
Flames of Durga brought their new lineup to the desert for a long, charged set that started in the last light of the day and carried into the night. These photographs are about that intersection of performance and place—the movement onstage, the changing light, and the particular energy of hearing loud music under a wide-open Mojave sky.
